As Head of Rheumatology at Northern Health, Epping, Victoria, Dr. Andrew Foote is a rheumatologist who is passionate about ensuring equitable access to the best rheumatology care.  He is well-known for supporting not just his patients, but also the next generation of rheumatologists through mentoring and education.  He has an honorary appointment with The University of Melbourne and is a regular speaker for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the pharmaceutical industry, undergraduate medical students and physician trainees. 

Andrew graduated from Monash University in 2003, and completed his rheumatology training at Monash Health, Austin Health and Northern Health.  Since starting work as a rheumatology consultant in 2013 he has held rheumatology public hospital appointments at Monash Health, Austin Health, St Vincent’s and Northern Health.  He has also worked in private practice in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, but is now exclusively at Epping Specialist Group.  Andrew has a special interest in complex inflammatory diseases, and is happy to see patients with any rheumatology concerns.

When not working, Andrew enjoys ceramics and photography and spending time with his wife and two children.
